2008 Endowment Development Award was presented to

Wayne D. and Janet K. Wisbaum

For their extraordinary generosity and commitment to the Jewish community of Western New York.  Individually and as a couple, Janet and Wayne have made significant contributions to a wide range of charitable organizations serving the Jewish community and the community at large.  Through funds they have established at the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies, the Wisbaums have channeled financial support to religious, educational, cultural and humanitarian causes locally, nationally and internationally.  Throughout their lives, they each have taken on leadership roles on the boards of numerous charities and continue to serve as role models for their active engagement in civic and communal affairs.  The Foundation proudly pays tribute to Janet and Wayne in gratitude for their legacy of philanthropy that will endure for generations to come.
