Grant Distributions and Beneficiaries
for the year ended December 31, 2010.

For the year ended December 31, 2010, in excess of $11.4 million was distributed in grants to charitable beneficiaries from restricted, designated and donor-advised funds. In that connection, Foundation donors recommended grants to over 973 local, national and international charitable organizations in support of religious, cultural, educational, social service and humanitarian causes.

Distributions are made on the basis of donor recommendations and restrictions. The Foundation cannot consider unsolicited grant proposals or requests for funds.

Grant recipients include: The Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo, Jewish Family Service, Kadimah School, The Bureau of Jewish Education, The Holocaust Resource Center, Weinberg Campus, and Area Temples and Synagogues

Grant recipients include: The United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, University at Buffalo, Olmsted Center for the Visually Impaired, and the Burchfield-Penney Art Center
